History

This organisation was founded by a group of ethnic women from Tauranga in response to the need for support services for ethnic women in the region. It was formerly known as DISHA Bay of Plenty Ethnic Women's Support Group Trust.

Mission Statement

Together, we work towards freedom from fear and violence; to empower and support ethnic women in a culturally safe manner towards self-sufficiency and self-reliance.

•  Life Skills programmes including Driving

•  Domestic Violence intervention services

•  Support group for ethnic women
